[SPOILER] he does. he says that at first he thought she was similar to his sister but as he got to know her, he realized that she is the complete opposite of his sister. The reason he saved her life in the first place was because she looks similar to his sister and he blames himself for her sister's suicide. In a way he was trying to make up for it. He keeps bringing up his sister in regards to rian bc (1) he's in denial abt his feelings (2) he doesn't understand his feelings for rian (its unclear which it is as of rn).
