More like he is gonna be the second lead syndrome, that guy who is sweet and perfect but its not gonna work cause yeonwoo only wants taehwan and its only there to work as a cathartic for taehwan so he stops being a jerk or yeonwoo gonna be snatched, at least in his eyes, cause yeonwoo is only gonna be into taehwan and eventually get together officially

Probably T^T gdi i hate it here- it would be so much better if Alex and Yeonwoo just become canon and they're happy together >:
he's a genuinely good person. dolsha doesnt write cliches but realistic people. alex isnt going to be anything but a decent person but taht doesnt mean he's the best fit for yeonwoo. if for no other reason than he's a white american and yeonwoo is a korean on a student visa. there's a big cultural gap there that can make having a relationship harder than it would otherwise be if yeonwoo was korean-american or a student from a white european country
true true!! Well either way I really hope you're right, because I really hate those cliches and I like him a lot, even if he doesn't end up being the right match for yeonwoo!
Ok but like- knowing BL, Alex 100% is gonna end up some sorta bad guy but like-- as of now ? I kinda love him? I hope he'll actually treat Yeonwu right and the way he deserves ╮(￣▽￣)╭
