Woah guys... Sorry if im intruding but uh... Lets just all agree that yes at SOME POINT the story has to be factually correct coz it is still based off of Egyptian Mythology... BUT it doesn't have to be all factually correct and the author can bend the story a bit to fit their intended purpose for the story

And also the story is more of the author's interpretation and taking a concept into their own story... SO BOTH ARE CORRECT TO SOME POINT

lmao yes I agree with you, notice how the beginning starts off similar to the actual mythology, but then it starts to explore those characters even more? This adds interest to the plot, otherwise would we really still be sitting here reading an exact copy of Egyptian mythology? I know I wouldn’t. Iris had Horis long before Osiris died
Like before he was cut up she had him
And when he was cut up Set had no interest in Iris
He litterly put Osiris ALL OVER Egypt so that Iris would look or him eternally or make it very anoying , he didn't just put him in the river
And his death is wrong but I forgot the specifics
Set also didn't put Iris in a labrith
But I'm not mad at that because I'm sure some versions have that
And Horis placed a very major part in looking for Osiris and when Osiris was first summoned Horis took over set and put his father on the throne again
Also they werent really demi god they just were gods
I'm not sure if the Anubis plot line is real tho i don't really care about him
Also Bas or Bast played a bigger role in the story
