Both the MC and ML are two very traumatized people. Suha is traumatized from his relationship with the ML's cousin who hoed him out to his friends and tried to rape him after they broke up.
The ML is traumatized from losing his parents at a very young age and being left to emotionally fend for himself growing up with no real guardian since his grandmother was "busy".
