So to kind of sum up the first timeline, Cayena was VERY different in nature of her expressions, experiences, how she acted and so on. At this point in time, she was very laxed, and spoiled in a way, and she was OBSESSED over the ML, which is Kedrey. In the most recent chapter (will not, tell any contents that isn’t known) Kedrey mentions how he disliked Cayena for her obsessions over him, and how she kept touching him at the time, it became annoying to him, which is why he tried to distance himself. And around the first timeline, Kedrey was fond of FL, because she was “different” in a way than most noble ladies, which made him grow attached to her, and then sooner after, Kedrey and FL became a couple.
So to say, yes, ML and FL in first timeline did indeed love each other.
