Welp, thats what makes manhua culture different compared to the manga/manhwa s. It is also kinda related to the audience preference. Kinda sad but reality, china audience likes the climatic toxic highlights in stories so me too tbh ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

fr thats terrible and sad ive dropped so many manhuas bc they trigger me in ways i didnt even know would. and i know it caters to the general audience but that doesnt mean it's right, right?:( cuz it means such heavy and toxic topics come off as normalized in their society and thats hella scary

Maybe that's good for you to not read them if they trigger you, I mean it, no offense. it's just like having clear understanding in mind that it is just a story and not reality and that one should know what they are gonna get from it, that why synopsis and reviews exist. There are tons of danmei novels where unimaginable toxic relationships are portrayed, but the way they are written is so good mostly that you read it just because you know that one as*hole character gonna get its lesson learned in later chapters. Or you read it how good it is written, this is the main reason for me. Anyway, if such stories are not your cup of too maybe drop it? Or if you like to see how MC pulls himself together and finally leaves ML, and how ML comes to learn his lesson and fix his behaviour towards his loved ones, I can only suggest to wait. Cause that is worth to give a chance to the story. Anyway, it's up to you. And omg, why I texted sm ?

haha i appreciate the long reply tho. yep i do drop em when i really cant take it anymore. im not the type to just drop them after one or two instances that upset me like as much as possible i give it as many chances as i can give and it's usually bc i root for the ml and want the best for them, or maybe bc i wanna see if they can give proper justification for the seme's actions and how theyre gonna pull it off, or sometimes only bc the art is good lol ( ̄∇ ̄") this time with this story i do wanna see ml hopefully walk the path to self love and self respect. thats whats giving me motivation rn to continue reading
