the reason why her father was very distant towards her in the 2nd timeline was bec of the King. He king has powers from the dragon? I dunno, I kinda forget but basically he has the powers to control Legis' actions. Unfortunately, the king testing this made Legis kill his wife. Juvelian saw the moment her father killed her mother and she repressed those memories and that's why she doesn't have memories to before she was 6? Or was it 4? Legis is being heavily monitored by the king bec he is the strongest knight in the kingdom so he wanted to keep at his side as hide "loyal" dog. The ring that keeps showing in the panels is the ring that he uses to control Legis.
My opinion/ words
They both have gone through a lot for him to have to kill his wife and for her to watch as her own father killed her mother without knowing why. The emperor and his family should die except max.
