I have to disagree, at first the old one was annoying af so that's why he was uncomfortable, the one that's taking over the body rn is way understanding and stuff which explains why he likes her

I mean it's kinda understandable tho...She was a brat before being reincarnated. I mean if I felt uncomfortable with somebody stalking me and touching me I would want them to stay away too lol. Now her highness is just amazing and beautiful and just perfect!!!!ヾ(☆▽☆) So who wouldn't want to be close to her now.

yuh yuh yuh ik she was obsessive and stuff and i’m not excusing her behavior but why is it that is always when the fl changes completely the ml starts to realize that he likes her now that she’s trying to get over him and move on from that. do yk what i mean

I think it was a bigger deal in the novel but, I feel it was very justified for Raphael to have not liked Cayena previously. She constantly harassed and stalked him, also touching him frequently (which would uncomfortable for him given his complex) and did not respect his boundaries.

I feel like he is seeing her in a different light and beginning to like her due to her actually showing him respect and treating him like a human being for once as opposed to her superficial treatment of him before. If anything, she treats him with a lot more care than the other people in his life right now, considering that she noticed and was considerate of his fear of physical contact. It makes sense for his perception of her to change.


This may be minor spoilers so don't read this part if you want to avoid them but, their relationship is actually pretty straightforward and honest throughout the story. Their romance is practically devoid of any serious misunderstanding because of how much they respect each other and how mature and communicative they both are, so you don't have to worry about him being wishy-washy about their feelings or anything :)

just a shot in the dark here, but mayhaps its BECAUSE they change in a positive way or in a more appealing way. usually in these stories before the switch of character, the fl was a villainess and thus probably an a-hole or brat like in this case. they switch up and they are no longer annoying or evil so the ml and everyone else may just see it as character development? growth in maturity?

yea i get you but then leave her alone. she said she wasn’t going to bother him and no longer harbor feelings for him and now that she said that he wants something with her and that’s my issues. i know he has some unresolved trauma but now that cayena has matured and become more understanding why does he feel the need to make himself known to her. she’s trying not to make him uncomfortable but it’s kind of hard not to do that when he constantly wants to meet with her
