I think he treats her right because they have met in the past and she saved his life. That might even be when he fell for her.
Ahh. I thought he fell because of the amount of care she gave him. The care when fl covered his wound with her yellow handkerchief (I'm not sure what was it but it was yellow hahaha). The one which was placed in the box as seen in the last panel during his conversation with Ludwig.
Lmao it was a ribbon and no he been in love with her (or at least i think it’s love) for a while because in chapter 8 he said “A long time ago she saved my life but it doesn’t look like she remembers”
This is nice. Ml treats her really good considering she's a princess from the kingdom they just had war with plus the setting during this timeline. A lot of people are usually super hateful during those time. It shows how much hell war gives.
So to people asking why the soldiers and people from that kingdom hates the princess. I think it would be weirder if they welcome her ya know. The hate is understandable.
