Btw some people don't seem to know this but our mc is the og cayenna as well. She lived as cayenna, reincarnated on earth where she found the novel, then reincarnated back into her first life and regained some memories from then
I think Raphael did like her, but she never gave him space so if course he was uncomfy and pulled back. Like you're going to start disliking someone who is always disrespecting your boundaries . But she matured and gave him space so instead of constantly being on guard he was able to relax.
Plus cayenna isn't just a puppet of her brother anymore like she was the first time around
