Get an art degree. It doesn't mean you're stuck doing one thing, a degree can go to so many different things, like therapy as an example you don't expect. Go for your dreams, you can always do more with that degree than you think,
when i tell you no manga has ever hit me harder than blue period. i’m a senior in high school now and i’d pretty much given up on my dream of going into art school for pretty much the same reasons as yatora: it’s too risky, i’m poor so what if the money spent isn’t worth it? i’m seriously rethinking that now, i mean, what’s the point if i don’t at least try? i’m gonna pick up art again this summer and try my hardest to get into my dream school for animation, and if it doesn’t work out, it’s fine. i tried! i’m off to cry now
