
I noticed that too lmao. I think the whole fair skin thing dates back to longgggg ago in the “dynasty” era’s lol. Where fair skin was a sign of wealth and that became a standard for men(and ppl I’m general) lmao. Cause if you had tan skin that means you were out in the sun and working( which was a sign of being the working class or poor) very classist lmao. Then this beauty standard transferred through generation to generations and even if it lost it’s meaning, it’s still publicized in the media ( kinda like te skinny models syndrome ) so there so many ppl in Korea, Japan, and China have fair skin. And when ppl see otherwise they might approchas it with oddness. It’s the not racism cause they are from the same race. It’s more colorist. Then again that can transfer to racism #-.-)
