Oh okay then. lmao it's okay I'll explain. So Lord Igen (the angry hot blond king) and Kasan (black haired pretty elevated slave) knew each other when they were little. Kasan paid more attention to Igen as far as we know. Their fathers were best friends. And Kasan's dad betrayed Igen's dad. Igen's mom was raped and beheaded, and his dad was beheaded too. Kasan's family highly profited from stealing all of their wealth and power. Igen was Kasan's first love. However, obviously Igen is extremely angry and wants revenge cuz his family and life were destroyed. Igen survived from teaming up with, I believe the third son of the last king. This is the one part I'm a little confused about, how he survived and who the other characters are. But basically he survived and rules like a tyrant lord now cuz he's angry and hurting and lonely. Skip to present where he killed off most of Kasan's family and now has Kasan as his slave. And they're gonna fall for each other. Which is what I'm waiting for :P

Thanks for explaining. I want to add that when people were most focused on the tyrant/slave relationship, many were saying it's just Stockholm Syndrome, but with the background information and the stabby bits, it seems like more is going on.

Np :) Yep yep that's what I like about it. There's so much more to it and the characters. And it's gets so interesting cuz there's more drama. Instead of a simple master/slave dynamic since they have history. Drama + politics = it's bound to get interesting

ohhhhhh. Well they just surprised me cuz I didn't think Igen would be his first love. I thought their dynamic would be a more typical Romeo/Juliet type + Master/Slave love story. But it's more angstier now that we know he knew about Igen and what was done to him. Cuz the whole time, at least at first it seemed like he was "sleeping with enemy" without knowing right? And you'd assume that he's pitiful and sad and stupid and useless. Yk as though he's a typical and naive uke. But instead he knew exactly who he was the whole time and just fell in love with beautiful angry boy (who's secretly hiding his sadness) all over again. See, before I saw the raws, it's like oh a super nice uke that sees the kindness in this cruel guy. But now he just seems even more purer and kinder, with an even bigger heart yk. It's just a lot more insight into their relationship and into the uke's personality.
