What if Iruma was the demon king or related in some way? maybe reincarnation. Which is why Sullivan adopted him instead of another demon child? he tends to avoid the topic as to why he chose iruma. Iruma parents didn't seem to care for them maybe they arent his real parents/ Iruma could be the demon kings reincarnation who hasn't unlock his demon side yet? or is a the demon king is oringally a human and also uses the ring of gluttony to use magic and stuff and could be the reason why he started to look like a demon with ring and stuff because the higher the rank of demon means the more changes the ring incarnation goes through. THis could also be the reason why thing ring has so much mystery around it like why goes it grow with a wearer rank or why it can talk and have a conscious. THe grandpa also gave him the ring... he served the demon king maybe it was his job to find the demon kings reincarnation and help him become demon king again.
