Technically if you think about it the seme has a reason to be hurt. Initially the uke did have some issues with showing his face but part of those issues was also trust. The seme though that once the uke uncovered his face he trusted him but regardless the uke still had trust issues (cause he asks the seme even after the seme says it's work) sure, it wasn't bad to ask but eventually it will hurt someone they they do not trust your word enough.
Yes, the uke has anxiety but that does not mean that the seme isn't allowed to have any emotions and get hurt.

I don’t understand how he approached him because of the curiosity of the mask but was upset that he wore the mask with him?
