Translation for Original Misunderstanding

I was just a bit curious as to why Keiji ends up mixing up the time for the party (supposed to be at 5 but he goes at 11 instead and says hes late). Its on ch. 3 and page 9. I tried searching it up but didnt really get anything so if anyone can explain, I'd really appreciate it.

This is probably late, but 5 pm is the same as 17:00. And they say it's 17 (jyuu-shichi). Meanwhile 11 is pronounced as jyuu-ichi. That's why Keiji mixed them up!

You can properly hear it in the drama cd if you want to know for sure!

And keiji being keiji doesnt question why theyd be meeting at 11 freaking AM to DRINK AND PARTY.
