Well yeah but it was more the way they present it, there was really nothing much :/ it kinda feels like they set us up for the time when she wears the dress but when she fiiinally did, it was sooo ...bland （¯口¯）
And honestly even a simple dress could and would look amazing when it's worn right and by the right person. Daisy were... unfortunately not the right person :')

I knowwww maybe because the hype and the waiting make my expectation towards the dress is high so in the end... I feel like hmmmm the dress is not really ugly but not really amazing too. Just normal. I think if the dress not shaped around bust, and just let it flow, it will look a bit better.

Let it flow maybe even change it to a sweetheart neckline and make the dress more body-hugging, I personally really dislike what Daisy's hips looks like haaa also pull her hair up into a high bun instead with wavy side bangs and maybe little braids in her hair orz but all in all it was definately not made for Daisy, I mean it was orginally for the empress afterall hahaa
Ughh the shoes the flowers or ribbons on it are just a simple black stilettos could have been better or maybe even dark silver haaa
In my opinion I don't know how the dress would fit the empress either. I was thinking about it and it I feel as though the dark blue and the neckline wouldn't flatter the empresses body as well as the dress she was already wearing did. The dress is just ugly too. To much going on without any reason for it.
I don't know how to edit sorry. What I mean by too much is that the embroidery, the necklace, and the patterns on the dress itself are not well placed. For one for those who don't use art engines might not tell but sometimes authors will use assets like premade jewelry brushes to make quick expensive outfits for their art. I can't tell if that's the case here, but how they places the jewelry reminds me of someone using assets not made on their own and just slapping it into the drawing with no concern other then "hehe shiny"

The "hehe shiny" part cracks me up but yeah manhwa authors loves using assets (there's this one teacup set that's like everywhere in every freaking isekai manhwa I read the true isekai side character lmao) cuz it saves them precious time and energy so can't blame them uwu
Anyways back to the dress, it could use a handy of works done to it but it's not sth I would personally call ugly... I mean it looked pretty ok on the mannequin a few chaps back hahaa I just thought that the dress might look better on someone with darker hair colour but yeah I actually didn't really think of the shape owo;; also, I said it was made for the empress but I took a look at chap 43 and Daisy said that Larls actually made the dress with his deceased sister in mind, there's an imaginary pic of said sister in the dress and yeah, I think the dress was really actually for her. Can't comment about the shape but the colours complemented her dark purple hair and I think she looks quite sweet in it : ) I guess it really boils down to the person it was made for
Well seems like everyone else have the same opinion about thr dress ╮(╯▽╰)╭ There were toooo many chapters about the dress from process to it's reveal and then to finally when she wears it but honestly it turns out too uuhhh ummm nothing worth talking?
It feels honestly lukewarm, like when they finally shows her wearing it, walking to her reception, it's nothing extravagant or have any wow factor (maybe if I was physically present, the magic lanterns and hype would get me but nah) and it doesn't actually suits her ughh, the colours, the design it's just wasn't made for her... at this point that Chiffon lady or sth's dress looks much more flattering on her ∑(￣□￣;) and the colour coordinates? Shakes head orz
I guess the wait was too long and unnecessary and tediously so that any hype whatsoever have long gone hahaa
