actually, our friends were rooting for us, but i guess we're not just meant for each other? We kept flirting w each other and we don't have the courage to take another step forward. Welp, we ended up with different partners when in college www we're both single now, but I don't feel anything from him anymore ^^

The reason why I'm fond of unrequited love and with the element of the male lead would get jealous when they saw the other lead laughing with some other guy, thinking that the lead found someone else, is because that happened to me in real life. Like I have this unrequited love for my friend in senior high, then when he saw me w someone he texted me that I chose that guy over him, but... We still didn't end up together :p and we still remain close friends 'til now.
