i think it mentioned that it only happens if she really really happy idk maybe i read that in my imagination but i think they only turn when the emotion is very strong
Yeah I get that but shouldn't she be super happy to see her friend again? And they turn other colors relatively easily too so I just feel like the threshold should be the same for all emotions. I mean look at how easily they change when she's anxious or slightly frightened. It just doesn't feel even
yeah no i totally get what you’re saying i feel like the author didn’t do a very good job keeping the changing eye color constant in the story it’s still pretty good though i just wish they incorporated it more especially when her eyes turned green when she was worried about Theo when he wasn’t even there
I kinda feel the same, and although it's for rare occations I expected her to flash those golden eyes of hers at least once in this chapter. I guess the author wants to emphasize the importance of the golden eyes to use them as a wow-factor in the future or something.
I kinda got that feeling too but I was expecting a quick flash at least too. Hopefully we can see them again sometime in the near future!
So I love everything about this but why do Chloe's eyes rarely turn yellow? Aren't they supposed to turn yellow when she's happy? I thought for sure that they'd change once she saw Theo. Maybe there's more to it but as of now I'm slightly disappointed... It seems like her eyes only really change easily for the other emotions
