I'm sorry, but I hate him too...I know he's a victim and in the first 14 chapters, i did feel really sorry for him but...,all the horrible things that keep happending to him during his marriage , are things he could prevent by divorcing...Niannian says, that his reason for not divorcing this literal human garbage is, because of some misunderstanding and because he wants to save the president from his side chick, because his side chick is manipulating him and he's actually not a bad person....as far as I know, maybe I'm wrong,... he thinks that, because the president helped him when he was a child. Its just naive and dumb to think, that u can know how someone is like, because of one thing they did for u in the past.....Believing in a misunderstanding that was caused by his mistress, without hearing anyone out and without thinking twice even though so many people are telling him that his mistress is a liar, and than on top of that ,literally tormenting the person, his lover says to be the bad guy and the actual liar without having any valid evidence, to the point of almost dying. How can niannian still think someone like that is actually good? The president is a genuine bad person. End of the story. Even if niannian knows by now that the president is bad, he's still not divorcing. Hes letting the president do these things to him, he has no dignity and is pathetic and he knows that himself, he's self-aware. I just hate characters like him, he's making me angry and i simply lost the ability to feel sorry for him. ( This is just my opinion about him and the whole situation so pls don't take it too seriously(￣∇￣"))
