I think it's mostly just to keep us readers in anticipation. Also, Hiba seems to get a kick out of Rikka's reactions so they're gonna drag out the foreplay before they actually get together. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I get that but usually they come up with some reason to keep them apart eg. They can't tell the other one's into them, an over protective parent etc. There's no reason for them not to be together, so there's no anticipation for it to happen.
True. Maybe Hiba has a dark and terrible secret so he doesn't get close to anyone? (lol, kinda cliche). But yeah, this series is kinda lacking in the thrill department. It's enjoyable but predictable that there is gonna be a happy ending at the end of each chapter so there's not much to anticipate... But after reading the last chapter update maybe this is a sign that things are gonna get more thrilling? Especially now that we know the God that saved Rikka is obviously not ordinary based on their conversation.
Is there a reason they're still not together? They both seem really into each other. Am I forgetting something?
