Well, one way or another they'll go separate ways in the near future... But separation with Miyuki and Furuya won't make Eijun magically realize his future. And they both contributed to what Eijun is right now. And it might not be that clear but I think Eijun has a picture of what kind of pitcher he wants to be— for me that's what is the most important.
Miyuki thinking about the future is not a bad thing... I mean there's a small chance that in 2 days it would be his last game as a high schooler. And why was he talking with Furuya about it, maybe because Furuya happens to be there. How would he know that Eijun will overheard them. And I think it's not a bad thing for Eijun to think about his future, now that he is receiving more recognition.
