I think that it is meant to make you uneasy. It is not the type of story that is created to make you have a good time, it is more like a story that tries to expose a certain a part of the human world that is very disturbing.
Yes, there may be a lot of stories much more disturbing than this. But honestly, I read this like how I read story, not disturbing or anything, just read.
I honestly don't know why I forced myself to read this. Don't get me wrong, everything had a lot of deep meanings and the artwork was immaculate as well, but I just feel so uneasy now LMAO this is completely on me— honestly, this manga really showed how shitty and messed up this world is, and I get so uneasy thinking that people actually go through this and I can't imagine how they feel, it's truly unsettling. I hope that everyone who is suffering with it gets some relief soon; it's terrible having to live life like that.
