What peeves me is that even if she's an adult in her head, the development of her body is just ignored... Why even think to send a baby that still trips because of underdeveloped leg muscles to the front lines? And how do their brains concile "she's good for the front lines" and "she's just a weak babe, a wee sprout who's too young to be anything".
The frustration this story induces in me is high tier... I'm still going to read it though because I'm curious as to how they'll frustrate me next.

Also, yes, I strongly dislike the king and the brat. a prime example of the difference between self-assured and arrogant.

Lastly, made me think we shouldn't overinvest emotionally in one thing and deem it the proof of our self-worth because that just makes for a flaky foundation for self-esteem.
