This line right after Si-eon keeps insisting that he's a giver more than a reciever makes me think that Si-eon is terrified of being treated well. It sounds to me like he's trying to convince himself that he's only a giver and doesn't need anything else from the relationship because he's been hurt in the past. I think he has all these walls up because he's scared of getting attached or maybe scared to expect too much from his partner and he doesn't want to get hurt.
