Well you are right in a way but still people just doesn't turn into psycopath on their own , some actions provoke it and I believe him being like this must be the cause of something .... I find uruma's character less mysterious and plain cause he is just guy trying to get revenge on the people who made his life miserable and that's all ... on the other hand kyon is totally a different story. Even if uruma dies kyon can alone drag the story on his own but if kyon dies well ...
Mental illnesses like psychopaths are always the outcome of some sort of abuse in the past or traumatizing event , people just don't come out of the womb and become a psychopaths. If you don't believe me go watch several documentaries about serial killers it's will help you to understand it better. No one is born evil or saint ... our experiences shapes our personalities for example in his fiction how his experience turned him into a cold blooded killer or how kyon made his peers' mind twisted jn a unimaginable way .
Yeah agreed . I watch serial killer documentaries some times to understand how their mind works and why they turned out this way and most of the serial killers are very intelligent and well spoken people. Kyon is also similar , he is very intelligent, manipulative , attractive , calm and merciless... I can not wait to know more about him .

At this point kyon is the protagonist to me, I mean his existence and actions alone provoked so many incidents and deaths. He is a very interesting character and I can not wait to know everything about him and reasons behind his actions. Uruma's character is almost nothing compared to kyon ... I hate to say this but I love kyon .
