WTF is this ?
There's not such thing like "lover" or "love" in this manga between this innocent kid and that disguting man.
This is not the right term to describe the statut of Jeremy, the main protagonist ; he was the VICTIM of that pervert narcissistic old fart Greg, that's all. An abused child, broken in his heart and body, broken in his dignity as a human and pride as a young man, shattered in piece like he's just a piece of meat or doll. And infortunately they're too many kids to live this kind of sad reality already.
I honestly couldn't go through the first 7 volumes, just opened up quickly the pages to see what occured (and it was already too much). Reading this manga was like walking through a nightmare and I felt sorry myself to not have the courage to read every page, to abandon this poor hero to his sad fate, it was too tragic, sometimes too melodramatic maybe, but who I am to judge this kind of tragedy ?
It's the old art style, old school of manga-type so it may not be easy the first pages, but you'll get rapidly immerged in this heavy and desperated story.
The old pervert was insane and I'd have nothing better to cure him than a good bullet right on his head, but what I hate the most I think is the mother, Sandra. She's the typical hypocritical type, she looks so pure and fragile, innocent, but she's nothing than an idiot. She sold even her precious child to some pervert man to get a comfortable married life, even if all of this is just an illusion. Even if she have to sacrify the life and the futur of her precious kid. That's why I always though that everybody can give birth, but not everyone can be parent.
She's supposed to be the one who protect, she's not the one to be protected.
WTF she's so fragile ? I just want to give her a good slap to make her get up from her dreams. "If you're incapable to act like a mother, then don't give birth to a child !"

I feel sick all along, and even Jeremy, who was the victime at first, I came to hate him. Jeremy who sinks and continue to sinking deeply in his nightmare. I hated and pity Ian, who ended up to sacrify himself to save and cure Jeremy like this... Just for how long will they live like that ?
This manga could've been called "Stained". This is exactly your thoughts when you come to read this. Disgust, violence, abandon, destruction, self-destruction and loneliness... All of those human sad feelings and dark sides are described terribly and marvellously by the artist, and question you about yourself. What would you do in such situation ?
How will you act ? Will you be Sandra, Natasha, Ian, Lindon, Nadia...? Will you be the friend, a real one, or someone who will turn his eyes away from the reality, being denial ? Every character who represents every aspect of human cowardice is present in this story, but also courage and understanding, acceptation...
Really this is the kind of story that stains your mind and will definitely leave you with some lessons of life. A masterpiece, definitely.

And the first lesson you can learn from this is : whatever the wounds inflicted to you, your past, or the bad people you may encounter in your life, learn to be happy. Just try to be happy.
To OVERCOME, not to forget nor to deny.
Because if you let yourself being defeated and dragged down by the past, those people will definitely win.
If they wanted the good for you, they wouldn't hurt you in the first place !

That's why, the best response you can give to those mean people is to be happy.
