if he gives gift to his son many nobles might oppose. Itd be as saying that emperor favours"cursed" prince and prince might be a hair and maybe someone might try to assasinate our little baby so i prefer it this way.

Still. Regardless of what others (commoners or nobles) would say, the emperor will always have the last say. Isn’t the emperor the law himself? Although... I guess if he were to dismiss the thoughts of everyone (most likely nobles) he’ll likely be called an unruly emperor? But it’s not like he hasn’t taken the commoners or nobles thoughts into consideration.... yet again, regardless of what everyone thinks/says the prince should be treated fairly other wise it’ll seem like the emperor himself is choosing the nobles/commoners over the prince. （￣へ￣）a shame if this was the truth
if nobles turn against emperor then emperor will be in danger and civil war might even happen which is common in history of kingdoms and empires xd. I agree that he should pay attention to his son more HE JAS TOO DAMMIT but he needs to do something else to make his soon seem less of a threat..
or i wish the emperor father will give gifts too to ML instead of just the FL because it's kinda weird that he's just giving all gifts to FL but not to his poor cute son
