My theory is that he is different from her, her soul or spirit went into the body of someone in a different world, but i think he is from the future, and when he saw that she was acting differently from what he remembered of the past, he began to trust he and understood she was different from how he remembered pr something like that

But did he die as another person, or did he die in that life and then go back to being a kid?
