Saaaaameee! I used to love Kurapika (although my fav is Killua) but srly I just realised I hate characters who are obsessed with vegeance like him....sooo yeah kinda feel like he has been a little selfish and leaving his friends (who would help him wholeheartedly if he asked) behind.... ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

Sorry, I like Krapika. I think he just needs to get the eyes of his friends back before he can relax.
I feel sorry for him that he feels he has no place to go back to, although in fact there are so many people who support him.
I think he will realise that in the end.
In my opinion Kurapika is a very complex and complicated person, I believe it must be extremelly dificult to get along with him. But he is also very interesting and I can empathize with his feelings. Sometimes his attitude annoys me, but at the end I think he is one of the most badass characters in this manga (more than Gon and Killua). He is very intelligent, strong, determined, dominant, selfish, arrogant, intransigent, perfectionist, demanding, compassionate, hardworking, introverted (doesn't open up easily), blunt, serious, eloquent, has a firm faith in God, independent, individualist, vindictive, sometimes disrespectful, he tends to judge and analize everybody, manly (in my opinion he looks like a pretty boy but his personality is manly),... so yeah he's really something.
In short Kurapika is one of the best characterizations here, and he is badass.

I even like how he's so arrogant and disrespectful. I think it's cool and funny at the same time because he's like that to anyone, even to the mafia boss. I think Melody(Senritsu) and Leorio are good match for him. They are warm people and I think they are some of the few people he can trust and open up to.
I'm glad we agree. :) And you're right: he works well with Senritsu or Leorio ; Kurapica is overly rational, too stubborn, proud and close minded so he needs someone who can be his heart , help him to recognize his own emotions instead of forcing himself to suppress all his feelings , help him get along with the people he is leading and remember what is the most important (and that he is not alone ).
the fist time i watched the anime i did like him a lot but now that i read the manga dont think the same, and im always angry when he doesn't want the help that his friends are giving him or when leorio calls him but he acts like they're are strangers. uf it's so tiresome

I find that he is boring, selfish, and annoying to the max. He does have inteliigence but....I don't know, I keep skip all his chapters and wait for my sexy Hisoka,Gon,Kilua,Ilumi to appear and then I will read in details lol
I actually like Leorio more than Kurapika....ugh....
