Thank you AG an early Xmas gift, you don't need to gift wrap it.
Wow that's an insanely beautiful artwork!! (and so sexy hot it burns!!) ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
That's one hell of a sexy Asami. I might have stared at his p too long haha.* blush* ^///^
There is a lot more of that art on AO3 Green Destiny wrote a story with illustrations http://archiveofourown.org/works/3706031/chapters/8202075
Thank you for sharing that link, misekatte (and to AG for the original twitter picture). I always marvel when I see true talent like this. Absolutely amazing! :) And I can only imagine just how many hours must have gone into this. I often wish that sensei might be able to see all that her work has inspired through the years...
The colors and textures of the cloth on the bed and the way the the muscles look as if they are flexing at rest, with that hint of a cloud at the hand. nice work
In the story that Misekatte linked to, there is one picture of Asami flambéing strawberries, I love that. In real life, it is literally just a split second when the flame ignites in the pan like that, and Green Destiny caught that perfectly. Fascinating.
I know what illustration you mean, it looked brilliant. I love that story so much.
OH MY GOD ASAMIIII!!!!! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ This is the best. I love Green Destinys work
It really does. I know I'm repeating myself, but I can't even begin to say how much respect I have for people with such talent. I think it's also a great example of a fanfic that is AU, but at the same time very much keeps the essence of the original Finder story and the characters. While being AU, it is still so very respectful to what YA created and it's really a wonderful dedication to her work. And in that, it's AU at it's best: Deep respect for the original, keeping what "makes" these characters and at the same time creating something so unique, original, artistic and beautiful. So much care went into both the story and the illustrations. I'm still so at awe.
So right my dear. It's because its beautiful and respectful. I can't imagine how long it took to write such a detailed story and draw each illustration. Huge respect. Yes it's so faithful to YA's work and what a remarkable tribute. I would be proud if I inspired fans like this.

I don't normally post links to fan art, but this is nice:
