Exactly! I m the kind of person who drops a romance story if there is a abusive protagonist or something forced/noncon/rape between the main couple ,I just get really pissed off. MDZS worries me because I don t blame nor I get mad neither with WWX or LZ, but if I stop to think about those actions alone I feel a little weird, I still got so excited to see their first kiss! and then I felt kinda guilty and thoughtful...but Wangxian are my favorite couple of BL's after all ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I don't feel really ease with those kind of forced sexual contacts in MDZS (Wei WuXian kiss Lan Zhan while he's drunk and passed out and Lan Zhan just grab him and kiss him without asking stucking the man on a tree), but I love so much the characters that I overlook those kind of behaviors and justify in my mind " it s just because they have reasons to fear exposing their feelings being in a judgmental and homophobic feudal environment". those kissing scenes are hot cause I know they care for each other deeply, but I keep think if it was some other random person that you don't love doing those things it would be unpleasant. Glad that MXTX got better at this point, in her next novel the characters use stupid excuses to keep kissing each other but if one of them didn't want to do it they could easily avoid it.
