personally i just took it as a way to show how deeply kyungsoo’s trauma ran through him. he was so utterly broken that the only way he could feel somewhat normal was with his abuser. dong-hyuk and geon both made him believe that he could never be happy with someone because he would only “ruin” them, too. it wasn’t supposed to be a love story.
