Postpartum depression very often comes with psychosis which is really cruel. My SIL went through it and wasn't really getting any better until half a year of therapy and meds. Shit's more tough than people realize.
It really is a horrible thing and what sucks the most is that it is a very common thing and its not talked about nearly enough
Exactly! Overall, so many things about what comes during/after pregnancy is not talked about almost at all. Guess they know women wouldn't want to get pregnant if they knew lol.
Seriously the stories i have told my friends have turn three of them off from having kids because they just do not want to go through it
I get being a mom is very hard, since i am a single mom. And i also get that postpartum depression is a horrible thing. But i do not like that she blamed him for never being around when he worked. Like he should help and he should have noticed but i hate blame passing especially when it come to children. When something goes wrong or is hard with a child everyone who helps with that child is to blame... idk i dont think she’s wrong cause its hard but i dont think she’s zero to blame they both are. She needed help he didn’t realize and she didn’t ask its just a messed up situation
