he didnt, they went to hawaii, look at their clothes, odajima was wearing a hawaian print shirt and in the end he was wearing a black shirt, the flashback was when odajima was sleeping in the car, not the hawaii trip
thats what i thoight too the last pannel made it seem like they didnt know each other or at least one of them didnt know the other. so i was confused if it qas a flashback or if he lost is memory or is being dumb
