Oh, and he also accidentally slept with his rapist's father. And everyone is okay with this. The other guy got demoted because he got caught receiving anal sex in the office. Both of those scenarios are pretty messed up. But I get what you mean. The humor kind of blunts the sharp edge that this story could have. I'm glad Harada went this route. Sometimes I wonder if Harada gets pressured to put out traumatic stuff and just went, "You want trauma? I'll give you trauma." And then created this masterpiece.
