She is gonna find out that the rumors are true and start to stay away from the MC and maybe even say things to her. People like this in the story don’t believe that a person could change. For example the princess use to be insecure but it got better after she got advice from the MC. Just from some rumors she is already doubting her and forgetting a the things the MC had done for her
