i have not watched the kdrama but, danoh dies at the end (which was fated in the story, her death was predictable but she still lived having smiles on her face). haru was there with her at hard times, but because he is only an extra with no role, but cannot just be anywhere, there are borders for him. haru watched her last death, smiling, holding back his tremble. she says something like "good he's not trembling" and smiles back. after she dies, but starts trembling when she's not looking. he only done it to make her happy and calm before she dies because he cannot do anything. you cannot stop fate in this book.

in the kdrama version, haru dissapears and danoh graduates. after that, the book ended and we see her in a new book. the new book was a college romance and she meets haru again. they remember each other but I was left dissatisfied cause the rule of the book wasn't properly explained. but thank you for explaining how danoh died:( that must've been so heartbreaking. even though they do meet again, it's still sad to remember how haru couldn't do anything because he was just an extra. and in the new book, they were born on different time/era:(

sorry if i sounded rude, but i hope you find a chance to read this. :) although it is quite heartbreaking, i think this is very well written and was very fun to read. i personally, love reading stuff that makes me feel tons of emotions.
