It was already hinted at the end that his "friend" would'nt have accept his past if he knew so wishing for them to be together is just kinda oof- :v
I don't know why but I'm satisfied with the ending. Although there is a lot of questions being unanswered, I think it's a good thing that Hyeon is free. I just really wished that Hyeon and that friend of his got together in the end.
