Finally, a real FL!!

I think the reason why the whole "strong female lead" trend that has been so popular these few years is due to the fact that female leads in romance stories are just so unbelievably superficial, bland, and annoying. But most of these strong female lead types just get predictable and boring. The FL here, Maxi, is just so raw and more realistic than ever. She doesn't get past her trauma in a single day or magically turns into a badass. She has actual mistakes but it just makes her tiny baby steps of character development just that much more endearing and REWARDING. I think that's why I love this story and Lucia the most for romance focused stories (plus they both have some sexy scenes heh).
