Maybe im wrong, but for me sensei knows more that he shows and i think thos words has to do with haru's culprit feeling about his own manipulative behavior around ren, the way he monopolize him to the extend that ren can't do anything without haru...
Haru has a huge trauma and a really extrange feel of loneliness that isn't normal, even after his parents death, way back on his childhood.
For me, this Sensei its gonna to unwrap the real reason why haru's behavior its so erratic... and thanks to him i think haru and ren's relationship its gonna grow more...
