Author should commit to the dark route and killed off the brother then. Or beat the shit out of him. Cus why not, the story already has rape, make it even darker by going nuclear revenge.
They could instead get his brother booked for phsyically asssaulting the seme though. ML does have it caught in video...tho i like my idea better, just kill the brother.
Even though rape is never acceptable and I think every reader hated that he let his brother off, including me, you kind of have to see his circumstances. In Japan and other eastern countries, whenever a victim reports a rape case, they punish the rapist but most of the attention and gossip is about the victim. A lot of them shame them for the not being a virgin even though it’s not their fault, or why didn’t they defend themselves, which sounds all crazy but it’s reality. Another thing I’d that this is an omegaverse universe which mostly overlooks and romanticizes rape. In the story, a lot of the side characters also said harsh stuff about omegas which shows that omegas are seen as toys. If he had reported the case, nobody would take him seriously since his parents don’t take him seriously either. His brother is an alpha and I don’t think that society would want to destroy an alpha like that. Also his brother is like the heir to the family and he’s parents would most likely side with him... I really hope they put him into therapy or what not cause letting him off like that was really not it, since he won’t just magically change like that if he couldn’t in the past.
