I absolutely love this series. But I have to agree with you.
A shame that her refusal weren't serious. Id rather she married someone else or no-one than be with men of that family. As if there wasn't a better way to deal with it than publicly humiliating an innocent woman like that. And even trying to get back together after learning to flirt from another woman??? GTFO!
As if her family would accept such a thing...
