I definitely don't think most people were faulting him for that. I also believe he was completely justified for moving on to another relationship, but his attitude towards the MC when he came out of his coma was disgusting. He acted like had no empathy for the MC and was genuinely a jerk.
I get that he's a "dick" for moving on and stuff, but cmon guys...having to go through years without knowing what happened to ur lover and trying to find a new happiness is completely valid. Everyone has a different way to cope.
