I’m pretty sure that in the novel it’s said that her dad is a duke or something like that in another kingdom. So she’s pretty much a noble that’s up there in the ranks, like her grandparents from her dad’s side adore her and she’s really loved by her dad’s side of the family! They even wanted her to move to there kingdom with her mother but like she’s getting married to Asher sooo... (now thinking back I’m pretty sure it was a different kingdom cause traveling to her grandparents estate took almost 2 months i think, please correct me if I’m wrong i haven’t read the novel in forever!!)
