oh sorry for confusing you, ummm I'm not good with words so what I'm trying to say is that I can't call them antagonists yet because they lack depth, their characters aren't well understood yet. all of the readers know is that their doing those actions for the sake of revenge because they felt the world abandoned them and i interpreted that act as villainous. To call someone an antagonist means that they are the very opposite of the protagonist, not just with how the way they act but also with their mindset,way of dealing with people and how they see the world.
Ah okay, I get it now! It's wrong to assign protagonist or antagonist to either of the sides because there are grey areas! I mean, the situations are too complex to give labels to both sides. It is clear there are conflicts and shows various perspectives. In any case, I refuse to call them as heroes turned villains. Thanks for the explanation, I got it cleared now! *thumbs up*

And it showed how cruel this world can be. it's refreshing and tbh despite understanding the original returnees a.k.a the evil heroes I won't call them antagonists because their actuons are simply villainous
