I haven't seen his words translated, but so far I know he cheated on his wife, made his oout-of-wedlock son promise to support the younger half-brother in exchange for support (instead of just supporting his kid), and treats the younger child as an "heir" just because he has a penis. Just for fun: Imagine the characters having a race in grade school (even if they were not all in school together then--say for some intermural event). How do you think the parents behave?
We know Azusa mom shows up and cheers for him like crazy. She tells him how fast he is and how much he deserves to win.
Karino's dad sends a secretary. The secretary tells Karino to make his father proud and not embarrass him. The secretary then calls Tatsumi aside and tells Tatsumi to run right behind Karino and block the path of any runner who looks like he or she is gaining on Karino.
Karino's mom shows up, works the PTA crowd, and tells Karino to have fun (because the race is not important, it's just a way to kill time, for now).
Tatsumi's mom wants to come, but gets lost and can't find the track. She shows up at the end to tell Tatsumi he did well. She sees Karino's mom, and puts her head down and hides.
Atsumu's mom tells him he is too weak to race--what if he fell and got hurt? She takes him home and tells him to be careful because he is delicate.
Senzaki's dad shows up to make book on the outcome. He tells Senzaki that only suckers get al sweaty for nothing. Senzaki agrees that it is not a real sport unless somebody bleeds, and goes to steal the other kids' stuff in the locker room.
Kuze's mom shows up to play right-hand schmoozer to Karino's mom. She tells him what is important is that no matter what, he smiles and looks good--and stops whining about that damn bunny already. Nobody cares. It's just a stupid rabbit.
We'll see how he behaves :P
LOL Also, Karino's dad hires a killer to have an eye on Senzaki's father in case he falls in love at first sight with Tatsumi's mom and starts acting weird :D

We were talking about women being independent general and not partners so generally I misunderstood your rhetoric as justifying and supporting the need to have only weak dependent women because men like them that way. A little clarity would be nice.
And you have to understand, Karl Marx's ideas so far are only good on paper, horrible in past and current societies. And you can't get sick of Nietzsche. His philosophy had led to great revolutions within societies to give rise to freedom of expression; envy, hatred, jealousy etc; and culture that are otherwise suppressed by the confines of religion and scripture. He made us get what we usually could not have, instead of making what we don't have a virtue.
But who I'm most proud of is Simone De Beauvoir.
I dislike Tatsumi's mom for the same reason I originally disliked Atsumu: her primary value seems to be in being cute and helpless. Atsumu seemed to grow some (though he is still painfully naive) but she makes a virtue out of being weak. She is Kuze's runty bunny. Notice how she lowers herself and looks up with eyes that say, "Take care of me,"?

She does it again in the raws when she's crying and she can't go see her married lover. She's just so...helpless, like she hasn't realized she isn't a little bunny anymore. Azusa's mother may flirt to distract guests, but she doesn't do that. The only other character who does that is Atsumu, and he seems like he might grow out of it. I worry for him that he won't--because if he doesn't, he could end up like her.
Being a runty bunny may work for some people when they are cute little teenagers--but it looks horrible on a mother.
But Tatsumi still loves her, so there is that.
