I meant he doesn't want anything to do with Karino lol
Those connections. Its scary cos I can see it happening.
*I dislike Tatsumi's mom for the same reason I originally disliked Atsumu*
100% agree.
I've read somewere that in Japan (ancient) being weak and submissive was one that the first "virtue" that a woman can have, if you know they also bind their feet and force in tiny shoes and not only because they like them that way, but also because they became totally unable to do almost anything due the inability to walk properly. Maybe i'm wrong and is not Japan but China xD but nevermind :P
feet binding is china lol. meanwhile in Sengoku judai, they had women samurais (small number but still some had high positions) and then times changed
I wish Karino's mom look like a younger version of this

When I said that strong men can afford strong women, whilst the weaker ones need weak women to feel strong and important, I remembered that famous remark of K.Marx so I added that it can be question of preference (since that influential genious had nothing to do with the weaklings and he is the one who stated loud and clear that his "favorite virtue in woman was weakness"). I didn't think my previous comment was rocket science.
You don't get to tell me what to understand and what not to understand, and you definitely don't get to tell me what I can or can't get sick of. And I AM sick of Nietzsche and his biggest fanboy Hitler (no matter if that wasn't Nietzsche's intention). And I'm sick of phylosophy in general, my "phylosophy period" was short and I'm long over it, not to mention that I was into Schopenhauer whom Nietzsche was supposably opposing).
As for Marx's ideas - good idea is still a good idea, no matter that people are not good enough for that idea to become true. And we are still slaves, though our chains have been loosened. And this manga is actually about that, if you didn't notice.
And I'm definitely for equal rights between men and women, and people in general, in case you were wondering.
Yes, depending on the time period, Japanese womenm did comparitively well. The weird thingis, it got worse for women just a few centuries ago, if I have my history strait. I can't blame Western influence, because correlationis not causation, but I think the whole cute and passive thing is relatively modern. I know many Western men like to see Japanese women as passive and obedient (but those men are kind of stupid andcan't tell passive from introverted or a differnt type of polite).
BTW There is a Japaese TV show called Tenchu about a female ninja somehow transported to modern times. You can see it on Dramafever (Eglish subs). It's not deep or historical, but if you like a sometimes campy fun show, I recomend it.

To be fair, Marx laid the blame for oppression the capitalist system, particularly in modern industrialized societies. Marx thought that working in a factory separated a man from the product he was creating and made him a cog in the machine instead of someone who could have pride in work. One of the flaws in his theory is that he failed to recognize the role the social structures that operated before capitalism and that are more deeply ingrained in human nature than even the simplest economy.
Caste heaven recognizes social hierarchies. While economic status does affect the real life caste of the characters, we see in this story that in the game, it is social role alone--social power and influence independent of money--that creates the masks and keeps people in line. Such issues of status and social roles exist in socialist societies as well. They are tied to core human concepts such as family, duty, and survival. Fighting exploitation is good, but we need a system that takes human hierarchies into account (and that has a mechanism for checking and balancing various types of power) because human nature is to seize power and use it.
It is in the nature of humans to long for power and even those who don't make it their goal from the beginning end up abusing it if they have it. Any theory that ignores the desire of power is doomed to fail. The Caste Heaven shows that no matter who you are and how high you fly, you're still not free enough to be yourself. Not to mention if you are actually not a flying but rather a crawling one.
"And you have to understand, Karl Marx's ideas so far are only good on paper, horrible in past and current societies."
I'm sorry, I'm not controlling u to understand, I was just implying you have to understand that I misunderstood your prev comment because of how I viewed Karl Marx (That guy who wrote and published a book complaining about why he have no money while he borrowed money from his more capitalist friend). Yes his ideas were okay and... thats it. :)
An I guess my english should have been clearer for you.
I dun care whether ur sick of Nietzche or not. But mentioning Hitler as if they are the same thing and not caring whether its Nietzche is intention to be fanboyed by him?? Really?
If I'm reviewing Ogawa Chise would I mention a famous psychopathic rapist that also read her book? Would I mention any other fan? Would I mention you? Cos if u playing that game, then Marxy isn't so great with all the Lenin, Stalin and all. Eat a chill pill and sleep.
I'm not a fan of any particular philosopher because not one of them is meant to be correct. Philosophy grows by having every philosopher go round and piss on each other philosphies. But the fact that I brought up Nietzche is cos u made this one quote from Marx the main focus of why women are desired to be weak (which I read too much into and admitted that I misunderstood) . I also mentioned Simone de Beauvoir which seem to have coincidently passed by your notice for the past two comments. I do agree there's some 'good ideas' in his words but ideas with no practical use or success is just a utopian dream. Similar to this manga, even if we are still free from the chains of capitalism, we won't go to an ideal place where everybody is equal in order to quench the thirst of being human. Its sweet... and thats it. Plus, he was into political theory based on economy so its a wonder why you put him as a quote for women. Just cos he's that somebody and have an awesome beard doesnt mean all his words are credible. He can say "Waffles are beautiful" but I can't use that quote to justify the beauty of all waffles even if I really see all waffles as BEAU-TEE-FULLL
'And I'm definitely for equal rights between men and women, and people in general, in case you were wondering.'
Took you so long to say it straight out without all the confusion and the biting words against me? You need sarcasm to actually say a good thing like this? Oh my.
I see your philosophy period up there had ended but your period down there seem to be starting (or is it 24/7) so better shove something up bitch cos you sound like you wanna shed some blood against me.
I can see your lame sarcasm (which i see in practically all the comment threads against people who took time to not sound like a bitch and make people's days better....unlike you) but that doesn't mean u can walk over me.
You can go zen with your Schopenhaur cos bitch don't touch me.
N-I-E-T-Z-S-C-H-E I'll end u motherfucker like this name in a spelling bee.
now can we get back on to speaking in a friendlier manner? Im sure your heart is big enough to put this behind us cos i know you can see that this is going to end up into a messy insult throwing party. If you continue to try and go with the hate approach (as if you jerk off on being that one thorn in someone's side) I will just let you finish fapping and orgasming at every word. Then I'll roll my eyes and turn away. One thorn doesn't make a sassy flawless rose.
Happy Fapping. Bye bye

I dislike Tatsumi's mom for the same reason I originally disliked Atsumu: her primary value seems to be in being cute and helpless. Atsumu seemed to grow some (though he is still painfully naive) but she makes a virtue out of being weak. She is Kuze's runty bunny. Notice how she lowers herself and looks up with eyes that say, "Take care of me,"?

She does it again in the raws when she's crying and she can't go see her married lover. She's just so...helpless, like she hasn't realized she isn't a little bunny anymore. Azusa's mother may flirt to distract guests, but she doesn't do that. The only other character who does that is Atsumu, and he seems like he might grow out of it. I worry for him that he won't--because if he doesn't, he could end up like her.
Being a runty bunny may work for some people when they are cute little teenagers--but it looks horrible on a mother.
But Tatsumi still loves her, so there is that.
