I get what you mean but when you’re that empathetic and you see these kids that you’ve bonded with end up in potential danger and the guy responsible for them is acting like a sick about it (no hate to again I’m just talking about ken’s perspective) then it’s pretty reasonable and he’s not doing anything crazy either and he’s had a rough life I’m pretty sure he doesn’t think of himself as weak
Why does Ken think he HAS to be one of the people to find the kids? He knows he's potentially being targeted by literally the strongest vampire but yet he MUST go out to look for the children.
His concern is understandable but I don't see how in any way, he'd think he'd be any help. Him doing that will create more problems that it'll solve.
Literally any other person there, i.e the priests are better options than him, since he's very susceptible and pretty physically weak.
