He has feelings he's never had before, he regrets everything he did towards Yoon and wished he could turn back the time and change the past, he's reflecting on his past actions. And this is not just words or thoughts, he actually acts on them and is trying to compensate. I call that character development

There is a difference between regretting his past actions and only regretting his last actions towards yoon ,u know this right? Nothing in him has except his attitude towards *only* yoon and this is also because he happened to fall in love with him otherwise he'd still ruin his life without a second thought and the worst thing is he is feeling hurt and miserable when he suffers but still doesn't give a fuck before making others suffer as if they don't have feelings or as if every one else's life is a fucking joke, NOTHING can justify what he did to his wife !
